About Kingfisher
Kingfisher was founded by Bryce Ernst, a former FBI Special Agent and private-sector security professional.
After leaving government service in 2022, Bryce entered private security consulting, advising corporate executive teams and private families on personal security, travel, and protective planning. He subsequently moved into direct protective work and founded Kingfisher in 2025 to focus exclusively on the protection of private clients.
His background includes service as an FBI Special Agent and U.S. military officer, extensive domestic and international operational experience, and professional experience in aviation and private aviation operations.
Today, Bryce works directly with Kingfisher clients, providing personal protection and managing additional protective resources when an engagement requires them.
